PARCC Testing Dates & Information - Spring 2016
 
In the next few weeks your child will be taking the PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers). This is a computer based test which will be taken on a desk top computer. The schedule is as follows:

Grade 3 Language Arts:        April 5-7

Grade 3 Math:                        April 19-22

Grade 4 Language Arts:        April 11-13

Grade 4 Math:                        April 25-28

Grade 5 Language Arts:        April 14-18

Grade 5 Math:                        May 2-5

Make-up testing will take place during April and May.

Please make sure your child is well rested, has a good breakfast, arrives at school no later than 8:25 a.m. and is prepared to put forth his/her best effort. More information about PARCC testing can be found at: http://www.parcconline.org/resources/parent-resources

Welcome to the Midtown Community Elementary School website. With over 500 Pre-5 to Grade 5 students, we are the largest and most diverse elementary school in the district. Our staff provides our children with the highest quality education while nurturing creativity, self-respect and integrity. The Midtown Community Elementary School is committed to providing an environment that supports academic and personal excellence under the Core Curriculum Content Standards for all students in grades Pre-K through 5th. Our vision is to provide a safe environment designed to foster self-esteem, character and academic rigor in education where every child can achieve their full potential.
