About Our School

Welcome to the Midtown Community Elementary School website. With over 500 Pre-5 to Grade 5 students, we are the largest and most diverse elementary school in the district. Our staff provides our children with the highest quality education while nurturing creativity, self-respect and integrity. The Midtown Community Elementary School is committed to providing an environment that supports academic and personal excellence under the Core Curriculum Content Standards for all students in grades Pre-K through 5th. Our vision is to provide a safe environment designed to foster self-esteem, character and academic rigor in education where every child can achieve their full potential. The highly qualified professional teaching staff collaborates with colleagues and district leadership to enhance professional knowledge and skill, and promote a school environment of academic excellence. Parents/guardians are encouraged to be active participants in the education of their children by attending all school events including but not limited to Back to School Night, PTO events, Parent Conferences, Music Concerts and Book Fairs. Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or me, if you have any questions/concerns. I can be reached at 732-776-2200 ext 3601.
