Mr. Allen began his tenure at Neptune High School on July 1, 2006 after serving 22 years in the Freehold Regional High School District.  Upon graduating college with a BA in Special Education, Mr. Allen worked briefly at Keyport High School before embarking on a fulfilling career as a teacher, supervisor, and assistant principal.  Over the years he has earned a MA in Counseling, and Ed.M. and an Ed.S. in Administration, Theory, and Policy at Rutgers, the State University of NJ.  He is currently a doctoral candidate at Rutgers University and teaches at the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University.

Mr. Allen is committed to improving the academic rigor at Neptune High School and has made it his initiative to improve the quality of classroom instruction.  Additionally, Mr. Allen is determined to reach AYP and has embarked on an ambitious journey to raise student, parent, and community awareness of the rigors of the Math, Language Arts, and Science HSPA.
